November 2022

Week 21st-25th November 2022
We had an amazing trip to Lulworth on Thursday. The children really enjoyed looking around the castle and learning about life in the past.
We were particularly good at being picture detectives and finding the hidden cuddly toy bats to fill in our treasure hunt sheets.
It was a fabulous day.
Week 14th-18th November 2022
This week we have been really busy!
We had a great PE session learning how to balance a ball on a tennis racket and controlling a ball by rolling it to our partner.
We had a super 10 minute challenge - to make a freestanding castle out of paper with a partner. They were amazing! We decided that paper for our 'mock up' design was not the best material to use for a castle model and we will use stiffer materials for the model we will be making in class over the next few weeks.
We also had an exciting imaginary VR drama session in English, returning to 1666 to the Great Fire of London to experience what it was like to actually be there.
Week 7th-11th November 2022
The children were fantastic at the Remembrance Service at County Hall last Friday.  They were very respectful throughout and we were incredibly proud of them.
Some forces representatives came to speak to the children afterwards and they were really taken with the array of medals shown.
