Foundation & Safeguarding Governor
I am a Foundation Governor and have the role of Safeguarding Governor. In this role I give assistance to CAST in the oversight of safeguarding management throughout the school. I do this by regular monitoring and meetings with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, who is the Head Teacher Mrs Fearn. I have 3 children, aged 10 to 19, who have all been to St Mary’s and had a wonderful supportive time here. I am a Chartered Civil Engineer, and I work for the Environment Agency in flood risk management in Dorset and Wiltshire. I have been a Governor from 2006-2011 and then 2016-present. I enjoy being able to give support to the school where needed.
