Blog September 2021

Week 20th-24th September 2021

A lovely sunny week with plenty of outdoor learning. From drama to archery and Forest schools- the children learned collaboratively and demonstrated great resilience, patience and compassion.

Week 13th-17th September 2021

What a great week! The children have been learning about Joseph and his technicolour dreamcoat in RE; retelling the story of forgiveness through drama. They have produced some high quality writing based on Grandpa Chatterji’s story and have been introduced to Indian spices, clothes and toys ( thanks to Ruby See and family). Parshwa has shared his knowledge of India with us and his family have sent a recipe that the children will try towards half term.

Week 6th-10th September 2021

What a busy week it has been with lots of learning. The children have been fabulous; having had many “normal” yr 4 experiences and duties. They have met their reception buddies, taken on the roles of playground wardens and embraced being role models in assembly.

We had a special liturgy on Wednesday to celebrate Marys’s birthday and shared a chocolate cake. Mr Knox, the new sports specialist, led our first PE lesson on Tuesday.
